Graham Scott is an experienced and well-respected paralegal, who has several important Small Claims Court decisions published. One of these is Staff Mountain v Indis Inc., whereby he successfully argued for the return of $224,441.87 to his Client in Small Claims Court (caution: similar results will not be achieved.) In another case, Graham achieved over $3,400 in costs on a single motion, convincing the Court of the strong need for Rule 19.06 penalties.
In 2009, Graham entered the Accelerated Graduate Certificate Paralegal Program at Durham College, the most accelerated paralegal program in Ontario. Graham was admitted into the program based on his extensive legal experience. He graduated the program with President’s List Honours in 2010, and received his Paralegal licence later that same year.
After receiving his licence, Graham opened Graham Scott Legal Services. Graham also served as an advocate for the advancement of the Paralegal profession where he was a Director and Treasurer of the Paralegal Society of Ontario, and was also a Director for the Ontario Paralegal Association.
In 1978, Graham opened ‘NTSC Video Sales Company Limited’, which at the time was the only Canadian manufacturer of video projection equipment. Graham led NTSC to become a leading player in the show business staging, and giant screen (up to 20 feet by 30 feet images) video projection industries, winning several worldwide contracts. Graham sold his business in 1988, and began consulting other small business owners.
Graham currently practices primarily in Small Claims Court, Human Rights, and commercial Provincial Offences matters. He has also appeared before the Social Benefits Tribunal, Ministry of Labour, Ontario Labour Relations Board, Ontario Human Rights Tribunal, and the Landlord Tenant Board. Graham has represented on matters throughout Ontario.
Graham's extensive legal, business, project management, and accounting experience allows him to effectively assist his Clients in all aspects of their legal matters.
